Rocsi Diaz
Born in Honduras and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Raquel Roxanne Diaz was a high school cheerleader before pursuing a career in radio. After working as a DJ in Texas and Boston, the lovely Latina was hired by Chicago’s Power 92 FM where she was known as the “Midday Mami.” Beating out 5000 other competitors in BET’s “New Faces” search, Rocsi was crowned the new cohost of BET’s flagship show 106 & Park in 2006. Along with Terrence J she’s brought a new energy to cable's #1 music variety show, which can be seen in 90 million households around the world.
