Sometimes I Cry is a one-woman show written and conceived by award winning actress and honored AIDS activist, Sheryl Lee Ralph. A complex and thought provoking show, Sometimes I Cry was inspired by real women’s life stories and their battle with HIV and AIDS. Sometimes I Cry creatively examines the female struggle when coping with HIV and AIDS, and offers an engaging window into the unique difficulties women face. The chronicles of these women from divese backgrounds and cultures are experienced as writer, performer Sheryl Lee Ralph explores through word, movement and song just how each woman copes with her new reality. Ms. Ralph becomes each character with every move and simple gesture, breathing life into them and their stories.
